The District began offering snow removal services in 2003-04 to one Homeowner Association in response to community requests. Since then, the service has grown to include 23 Homeowner Associations and 66 private driveways for the 2018-19 winter season.
The District’s snow removal equipment includes three loaders, one loader-mounted blower and six Trackless snowblowers. The Trackless snowblowers are smaller in size which make them well suited to handle the many driveways, parking pads and tight areas common at Kirkwood. For those participating in the District’s Snow Removal Program, your HOA and driveway will be plowed as part of three established routes, with need for removal determined by the District operators. Route starting locations will rotate each day.
