The District began offering snow removal services in 2003-04 to one Homeowner Association in response to community requests. Since then, the service has grown to include 22 Homeowner Associations and 65 private driveways for the 2016-17 winter season.
The District’s snow removal equipment includes two loaders, one loader-mounted blower and six Trackless snowblowers. The Trackless snowblowers are smaller in size which make them well suited to handle the many driveways, parking pads and tight areas common at Kirkwood. For those participating in the District’s Snow Removal Program, your HOA and driveway will be plowed as part of three established routes, with need for removal determined by the District operators. Route starting locations will rotate each day. Customer requests for snow removal beyond the scheduled routes will be evaluated based on availability and will be billed as per the Contract. Requests can be made by calling the District’s customer service staff at (209) 258-4444 Monday through Friday 8am to 4:30pm.
