NOTICE OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY COMMITTEE VACANCY
Please be aware that there is a vacancy on the newly established Information Technology (IT) Committee of the Kirkwood Meadows Public Utility District.
The IT Committee has been established as a Standing Committee of the Board of Directors whose primary duties are to oversee network security, data base management, policies and updates that may be required to ensure the District’s information technology system remains protected and current with technological capabilities. The Committee reviews for recommendation to the Board system updates, identified vulnerabilities and recommended solutions as prepared by management. The Committee shall review and recommend policies and procedures consistent with current “best practices” for districts of similar size and complexity.
The IT Committee Charter calls for membership to consist of two Board Members and up to five Community Members for a term of two years.
Community participation and input is a vital component to the performance and results achieved from the District’s committees, and we are actively seeking District residents, landowners and ratepayers to provide perspective and expertise otherwise not readily available to the Board. We know your time is valuable. These committees meet once monthly at the District offices, however participation by teleconference is acceptable. If you are interested in helping to shape the District’s future and can commit a minimum of 2-3 hours per month to focus on a wide range of issues, we would like to hear from you.
If you would be interested in serving on the IT Committee, please send a letter of interest and a statement of qualifications to the District at msharp@kmpud.com.
If you should have any questions, please contact General Manager Michael Sharp at (209) 258-4444 or msharp@kmpud.com.
