NOTICE INVITING BIDS
FOR PURCHASE OF A BULK PROPANE STORAGE TANK
The Kirkwood Meadows Public Utility District will receive sealed bids for the purchase, engineering and installation of the following equipment: new or used 30,000-40,000 gallon above ground propane storage tank, pier foundation and associated piping. Sealed bids may be mailed to the District at PO Box 247, Kirkwood, CA 95646 or delivered to the District office at 33540 Loop Road, Kirkwood CA 95646, or submitted via email to firstname.lastname@example.org and will be accepted up to 4:00 p.m. on July 5, 2017. Bids received after this deadline will be returned unopened to the bidder. The sealed bids will be publicly opened and read at the above address on July 6, 2017, 4:00 p.m. The bid, if it is to be awarded, will be awarded to the lowest responsible responsive bidder. The purchase contract will in the form of the District’s standard purchase order form.

The District reserves the right to — reject all bids; reject any nonconforming or nonresponsive bid; verify the information in any bid; waive any informality in the bid process; request additional information or clarification; allow correction of errors or omissions that do not affect the bid price; extend the deadline for bid submission; and, withdraw and cancel this request for bids at any time without prior notice. The District makes no representation that any bid will be awarded. This notice inviting bids is not an offer to contract. All costs of bid preparation will be paid by the bidder. All submitted bids will become the property of the District and all opened bids will become a public record.
